Optical fiber preform gas systems:

To suit each specific requirement, our gas supply equipment has a modular structure, based on a set of detachable sealed compartments :
- MFC, LVC or other evaporation control systems.
- Manual or automatic refill system.
- Liquid storage.

Preform gas systems may be delivered for any type of power supply voltage, with CE certification or UL certification. The interface to process controller can meet any customer requirement, including standard I/O’s or many types of field buses.

Accuracy

Each compartment has its own heating and its own control system to accurately compensate for the ambient and liquid temperatures.
The use of Digital Technology allows for a precise control of the gas flow rates.

 

Maintenance

Qualiflow preform gas systems are designed for intensive industrial use. In addition, all components are easily accessible to allow rapid diagnosis. In-situ gas flow calibration increases up-time and enhances the quality and characteristics of the produced preform.

Automated Gas Purifiers for Preform Gas Systems

Automated Gas Purifier

Impurities such as CH4, CO2 or H2 are found in oxygen and all process gases (freon, chlorine, argon or helium) when manufacturing Optical Fiber preforms. Levels can reach values of up to 10 ppm.
Qualiflow Automated Gas Purifiers purify process gases by reducing the amount of impurities down to 0.2 ppm.
